Gold Rush

Operation Reboots gold prospecting will introduce you to the art of gold prospecting. There will be missions for beginners and experienced prospectors alike. No prior experience is necessary and no special licensing is required. Our gold missions are primarily in the field and group oriented, but there will be some classes to go over the basics and individual outings may be scheduled on a case to case basis. Gold prospecting is a lot of fun, it can be hard work, but very rewarding, not always with gold, but the experience itself and the comraderie shared on these outings spawn memories that will last for a lifetime. 

Currently we are doing panning and slicing and hope to expand to more advanced techniques, such as dredging, highbanking and more sophisticated clean up methods as interest and funding develop. 

So if you've ever thought about the allure of finding the treasure, sign up and come on out with us, you will have a great time, learn a little, make some new friends or rekindle old friendships, oh and dress appropriately and bring some dry clothes, good chance that you will get wet.
